How to Earn from a Blog

If you are a content writer, online marketer or blogger wondering how to make money from blogging, you have come to the right destination. The most interesting part is that an informative, educative and statistics-enriched blog can drive more traffic and render you a significant amount of money. In this blog, I will discuss on how to make money from a blog.

1.  Ads

A blogger can make money from ads posted on his or her blog. There are two types of ads namely CPC (Cost Per Click)/PPC (Pay Per Click) and CPM (Cost Per Impression).

CPC /PPC

As the name suggests CPC/PPC means the actual price paid for each click when one clicks on an ad.  
CPM (Cost per impression).
On the other hand, CPM refers to cost per 1,000 impressions. Here advertisers pay a blogger a fixed amount for a certain number of ad views.
Google AdSense is probably the best advertising networks. Besides, there are Go Click, 7search, Perry Marshall, Bing Ads, etc.
For CPM ads, you will have AdsOptimal, Amazon CPM Ads, PropellerAds, Conversant Media, Exponential (Formerly Tribal Fusion), etc.
If you are not interested in working with the advertising networks, you can go for the private ads.
However, one thing you should keep in mind that your blog must receive enough traffic to get approval for publishing ads on it.  

2.   Affiliate links

You can earn money by placing affiliate links in your blog content. To be more precise, you need to place a link for an item to be sold on another site, like Amazon, Flipkart, eBay, Snapdeal, etc.  When someone follows the link on your blog and purchases the item (going on that site), you get a commission for it.

3.   Product selling

You can earn from your blog when you sell digital products like apps, themes, plugins, templates, online courses, eBooks, images, music, videos, etc. Here maintaining relevancy is a must. Frankly speaking, if your blog is related to web and app solutions, you can sell products like apps, themes, plugins, templates, logos, banners, etc.

4.  Selling memberships

Selling your membership is a very good option.  It is a worth considering strategy for earning recurring revenues without taking much pressure for it. You can use your blog for selling memberships.

5.  Services

Selling services is also a very good way to make money from your blog. You can earn a healthy amount of money by selling services like consulting, bookkeeping, online teaching, coaching, web designing, content writing and blogging itself.
